Cook/Household Assistant

Do you enjoy cooking? Do you have a Pinterest board full of recipes? Do you like helping others? If so, MommyAssist is looking for YOU! Our team helps families answer the question 'what's for dinner?' We are in-home assistants, including cooks, who meal prep, make dinner and assist with kitchen-related tasks. Ideal candidates are passionate about cooking and assisting moms in their kitchen. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to clients' directions and recipes. Familiarity with kitchen and cooking appliances (air fryer, food processor and more) is essential, as is confidence and experience in cooking at home for families with young children

If you have experience with meal prep or catering, that's a bonus. We also offer additional earning opportunities through our range of services including laundry folding, dishes, running errands & more.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook simple meals & cooking clean-up in private homes as described above
• Demonstrate familiarity with kitchen and cooking appliances
• Be familiar and comfortable with cooking various food types and adjusting recipes as needed

Requirements :

• Timely arrival to all scheduled appointments
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
• Excellent communication skills and an adaptable personality
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Several years of cooking experience and working with families/household services
• Must have reliable transportation
• Will be subject to a background check

Schedule :

• Flexible schedule, weekdays 9am-6pm
• Weekend availability a plus but not required
• Day shifts assigned based on your availability, often for as little as 2 hours

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
