Full Job Description Prep Cook Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of food items for catering events
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
• Chop, slice, and dice ingredients as needed
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Prepare sauces, dressings, and marinades
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Store food properly to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
