THE MINISTRY ADVANCEMENT DIVISION'S PURPOSE

To activate leaders around the world through involvement with Dare 2 Share programs and resources, mobilizing them to operate Gospel Advancing ministries that accelerate the global Gospel Advancing movement.

RESOURCING SPECIALIST POSITION SUMMARY

The Resourcing Specialist (RS) is a verbally proficient, detail-oriented, and teachable person who has a heart to see the Gospel advanced through teenagers. This person works with the Resourcing team to write, edit, publish, update, curate, and distribute high-quality, biblically based resources that equip Gospel Advancing leaders worldwide. The RS contributes to multiple content projects simultaneously, delivering resources on time and with excellence, with the goal of inspiring and supporting youth leaders to lead and multiply Gospel Advancing ministries and networks. This position requires excellent editing and writing skills, organizational proficiency, and the ability to communicate clearly and amiably with people within and outside of the organization, consistently and accurately representing Dare 2 Share's mission and vision. The RS must be able to work with minimal supervision on multiple, concurrent, high-priority projects, and be willing to help with project management and department administration duties as needed.

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the Director of Resourcing to write, edit, publish, update, curate, and distribute clear, clean, and creative content, appropriate for the intended audience and according to the Dare 2 Share style guide.
• Develop resources, media presentations, and content delivery for training occasions, such as webinars, events, podcasts, speaking engagements, classes and seminars, and digital-education platforms.
• Communicate with external partners and inquirers about appropriate resources. Resource-project oversight - 25%
• Assist with project management and administrative duties required for resource completion.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams that develop resource ideas and strategies.

REQUIRED TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS

• Strong editing and writing proficiency. Must excel in big-picture editing, copyediting, and proofreading,
• Excellent oral communication skills, to be applied effectively both internally and externally.
• Ability to interact positively with other team members.
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, working on multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Passion for THE Cause (Matthew 28:18-20).

COMPETENCIES PREFERRED

• Two years or more of professional editorial experience.
• Working knowledge of project-management software.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and other Creative Cloud apps.

• Ability to meet individual and team deadlines.
• 24-hour turnaround in communication (internal and external).
