About the
Role:
The Core Processor plays a crucial role in the recycling and salvage industry by ensuring that automotive cores are processed efficiently and effectively. This position involves evaluating, disassembling, and categorizing various automotive components to maximize their reuse and recycling potential. The end result of this role is to contribute to sustainable practices within the automotive sector while also supporting the company's profitability through effective core management. The processor will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Ultimately, this position is vital for reducing waste and promoting environmental responsibility in automotive salvage operations.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic understanding of automotive components and their functions.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience (or certification) in automotive repair, salvage, or a related field. Experience with inventory management systems. Knowledge of environmental regulations related to automotive recycling.Responsibilities:
Evaluate incoming automotive cores for salvage potential and categorize them accordingly. Disassemble automotive components safely and efficiently, ensuring all parts are handled with care. Maintain accurate records of processed cores and inventory levels to support operational efficiency.
