Corporate Warehouse Forklift Operator

Overview We are looking for a reliable and energetic Corporate Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our logistics team. In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with heavy equipment, has a keen eye for safety, and takes pride in maintaining organized and smooth warehouse processes. Duties Operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse. Assist with order picking using equipment such as pickers and ensure accurate selection of products for shipping or inventory purposes. Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders with precision. Maintain the safety of all warehouse operations by adhering to OSHA standards and proper equipment handling procedures. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic repairs on forklifts and other heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance. Organize warehouse space efficiently through proper stacking, palletizing, and storage techniques aligned with warehouse management systems (WMS). Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve materials handling processes, and ensure timely order fulfillment. Skills Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment. Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting issues with forklifts or other machinery. Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and load adjustments. Experience in shipping & receiving processes along with order picking techniques. Good physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and extended periods of standing or operating machinery. $22.50 - $23.50 per hour
