Responsibilities Monitor inmate behavior and enforce facility rules to maintain order and safety Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including CCTV surveillance, to identify and address potential security issues Respond promptly to emergencies or disturbances using conflict management techniques and first aid when necessary Maintain accurate reports on incidents, inmate activities, and security logs through clear report writing Assist with inmate intake, transfers, and releases while adhering to security protocols Support law enforcement efforts by providing information and cooperating during investigations or inspections Experience Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, security operations, or related fields is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems and conflict management strategies is advantageous Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable; training will be provided if needed Strong report writing skills with attention to detail are essential for documenting incidents accurately Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a high level of alertness This role offers an engaging career path for individuals committed to public safety and community service.
