"Beauty is Confidence" Responsibilities Provide a variety of hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences. Being able to hold conversations with clientele in the salon. Having the ability to see different tonalities and textures in clients' hair. Talk about all the products you recommend, from wash to style, to ensure that they keep the quality of their hair in good condition. Learn and meet target goals based on new customers and retail sales. The goal is to get new clients into the chair and ensure they have a wonderful experience and want to rebook in the future. Make sure all tools used are properly sanitized and upheld to state code. Sanitate tools and workstations according to salon protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer professional recommendations. Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and promote salon offerings. Assist at the front desk when needed, managing appointments and greeting clients warmly. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification is required. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills. Familiarity with salon software systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards.
