Cosmetology Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. As a Cosmetology Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and training to aspiring cosmetologist. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise in various areas of the beauty industry, including hair cutting, styling, color application and more. If you have a passion for teaching and a strong background in the beauty industry, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials for cosmetology students
• Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to students in various cosmetology techniques, including hair cutting, styling, color application, and more
• Teach students about anatomy and physiology as it relates to cosmetology
• Demonstrate proper techniques for hair cutting, coloring, and styling
• Educate students on proper sanitation and safety practices in the salon environment
• Provide guidance and support to students as they develop their skills and prepare for licensure exams
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cosmetology techniques
• Data Entry, hands on graded assessments and more

Qualifications:

• Valid cosmetology license and or barber license
• Previous experience working as a cosmetologist/barber or cosmetology/barber instructor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons
• Passion for teaching and helping others succeed in the beauty industry
• Familiarity with adult education principles is a plus
