Job Description
Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into an engaging environment where your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant can make a lasting impact on students' lives. A full-time contract opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving K-12 students with a dynamic and manageable caseload of approximately 25 learners. This role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and therapists, and the possibility to extend your work into the school's extended year program. As a valued member of the educational team, you'll empower students to overcome daily challenges and foster essential skills for classroom and life success. Your contributions will be key in supporting students of varying backgrounds and abilities, in both individual and group settings.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Wyoming COTA license (required) Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 populations in a school setting Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities Strong organizational and documentation skills Enthusiasm for supporting special education and general education studentsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy interventions to address students' IEP goals Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other team members Provide direct or consultative support to students in classrooms and therapy rooms Collect data and maintain timely documentation of student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Adapt activities and materials for optimal student engagement and participation This full-time role features stable hours (7 hours a day, 5 days a week) in a supportive school community, with the potential to extend your impact throughout the year.
