Job Description

Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Make a real difference in elementary students' lives by helping them achieve their goals in the 2026-2027 school year! This contract-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position will provide meaningful support to schools in the Bethlehem, PA area and nearby communities. You will work with a diverse elementary caseload, providing interventions within educational settings for 35 hours each week. Your skills and compassion will empower students to succeed in and out of the classroom.
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Pennsylvania state license and up-to-date clearances Successful experience working with children in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus Strong communication and collaboration abilities Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with children from a range of backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students as directed by supervising OTs Implement therapeutic activities and individualized education plan (IEP) goals Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation skills Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and the greater school team Participate in ongoing team meetings and professional development as needed What's in it for you?
