COTA - Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Sac City, IA. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college. Active Iowa COTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to start. Minimum 1 year experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred; candidates meeting minimum experience will be considered. Experience with restorative nursing programs, ADL retraining, and durable medical equipment (DME) recommendations preferred. Ability to follow written care plans, document using electronic health record systems, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
