Counselor for Substance Abuse Treatment Facility, NJ

FULL OR PART TIME CONSIDERED

Freedom House is seeking to hire Licensed credentialed Counselors for residential and outpatient programs.

CADC OR LCADC

preferred;

LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT

also qualified. Telehealth options for credentialed Counselors. Must be proficient with NJSAMS, and have experience working within EHR platforms. Full-time or part-time considered; salary ranges from $25-$35/hr. commensurate with experience and credentials. •

TREATMENT PLANNING

Assists the client and significant others in the development and implementation of the service plan. •

REPORT AND RECORD KEEPING

Maintains appropriate and confidential records of client progress under the supervision of the Clinical Director. •

CASE MANAGEMENT

Facilitates planning and problem solving meetings with clients, significant others, and collateral agencies when necessary, advocating for clients and assisting with gaining needed services. •

COUNSELING

Provides individual, group, and supportive counseling. •

CONSULTATION

Participates in supervision sessions, case conferences/multi-disciplinary team meetings, and general staff meetings. • May be required to teach and supervise daily living skills including but are not limited to cooking, cleaning, laundry, banking, budgeting, personal hygiene, menu planning, shopping, etc. • May be on call for crisis management; contacts supervisor in the event of acute crisis. $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
