Summary:
Responsible for facilitating all assessment services for the program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with the clinical philosophy of the program.
Shift:
Flexible hours with the requirement to work one weekend day.
Pay:
$27 to $30 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings and level of care assessments using clinical knowledge and skill level; communicate the process with clients. Evaluate behavioral, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, and social needs of clients. Collect demographic and historical information relevant to the level of care assessment (LOCA). Gather information for and complete precertification for all managed care clients when applicable. Facilitate the admission process by communicating with the appropriate clinical team member as required. Facilitate appropriate admissions to all levels of care. Make appropriate referrals to community providers and find placement in appropriate settings for clients. Complete assessment, admission, and other paperwork for clients in a timely manner, including but not limited to Releases of Information (ROI) and other admission paperwork. Manage admission pre-certification with funding sources when applicable. Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed. Provide coverage for other clinical team members. Maintain clinical records for clients with appropriate documentation of clinical services and client program engagement in ECR in accordance with program policy. Conduct brief individual therapy to engage patients in treatment and document appropriately. Provide case management and linkage to alternate services if indicated. Develop an initial treatment plan. Complete all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling with a Master's level licensure: Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Professional Counseling; Master's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling and working towards a Master's level licensure (Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Professional Counseling), or certification by a statewide certification board (CAADC); Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, or counseling AND a CADC OR working towards a
CADC AND 2
years of counseling experience (group therapy/individual therapy/family therapy).
