Job Description

Position Summary:
Coupler Assembler Trainee The Coupler Assembler is responsible for the assembly of the focus housing of the endoscope as well as ensuring that the product is free from visible dirt, dust, or scratches. This will include disassembly, cleaning, machining, assembly, checking, and testing the final product.
Work Hours and Location:
40-hour work week in Dudley, MA with flexible work schedule after training period
Reports To:
Designated Team Leader Essential Functions Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Disassembly of optical / mechanical assembly Clean surfaces & threads using custom hand tools and motorized hand tools Sort, inspect components, clean, and reassemble optical/mechanical assembly Inspect for function and against specifications This position requires strong mechanical and visual inspection skills Other duties as requested, directed, or assigned based on knowledge and training experience Qualifications Microscope experience Ability to maintain precise hand eye coordination to perform detailed tasks with accuracy Typical Physical Requirements Must be able to sit and use a microscope and/or an eye loop for up to 7 hours a day Must have the hand/arm strength to apply twisting or direct force using a wrench, screwdriver, hand, and/or pliers. Must be able to work with machine equipment as trained and required. Must have excellent hand / eye coordination It is necessary to be able to walk between manufacturing equipment and workbench Compensation & Benefits $17.87 - $18.87 per hour depending on experience. This range represents the amount the company reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role. Final compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors. After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period, Henke Sass Wolf of America offers a competitive selection of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurances, 401k retirement savings plans, paid time off, and other voluntary benefits. Trainees are not eligible for company benefits until the conclusion of the 90-day probationary and training period.
