In this role, you will be responsible for transporting packages to various locations while ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes. Driver position will start out at $18 per hour for training and jump up after training. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Able to lift or move up to 150 lbs. Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and any discrepancies. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit. Assist with moving items as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience operating box trucks or vans. Ability to lift and move heavy packages safely; experience with loading and unloading preferred. Strong route driving skills with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous but not required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to pass a drug screening and obtain a medical DOT card.
