Creative Play Co-Teacher 3330 Stahl Rd, Sheboygan, WI 53081 $16

Part-time Position Title:
Creative Play Co-Teacher Reports to:
Recreation Supervisor Supervises:
None Works with:
Building Administrators, Teachers, Custodians, Administrative Assistants Qualifications:
  • Experience working in child care, with children or recreation programming.
  • Must be certified in First Aid & CPR or willing to obtain this certification in the first six months.
  • Must pass the criminal background check.
  • Lesson planning experience preferred Program Overview Creative Play will develop your child through literacy, songs, play, arts/crafts and more.
Children must be 3 years old as of September 1, 2026 to be enrolled. Children being potty trained is highly encouraged but not mandatory. Classes consist of a mix of regular education and special education children. The program will take place for the duration of the school year.
General Summary:
  • Assist & lead Creative Play with everyday tasks.
  • Obtain the ability to help with and lead lesson plans to ensure quality program outcomes.
  • Provides on-going communications with CRD staff, SASD building principals, administrators, parents, and children. Responsibilities/Tasks
  • Engage with participants in an outgoing and fun manner.
  • Help to provide a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with bathroom duties of children including diaper changes
  • Assist children with snack time.
  • Clean and Disinfect classroom and toys.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all parents and children.
  • Maintains confidentiality of childcare participants.
  • Attend staff meetings.
  • Is available to fill in for staff and assist staff as needed.
  • Provides for the safety and well
  • being of the children.
  • Resolves program-related issues.
  • Help set up the classroom for the day.
  • Help clean up the classroom when class is over.
  • Perform other duties that are self-initiated or as assigned by the Recreation Supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, Expectation

Hours of Operation & Class Schedule Mon-Fri:
8:45am-11:45am and/or 12:45pm-3:45pm Mon/Thur AM & PM Session Tue/Fri AM & PM Session Wednesday AM & PM Session
  • May be open to adjusting to a mix or hybrid schedule depending on applicants. Compensation $16
  • 18/hr D.O.Q
  • Benefits are not offered for this Recreation Department position.
