This position focuses on teaching the NJROTC curriculum and instilling leadership, discipline, and teamwork in students. This position manages resources, organizes extracurricular activities, and maintains connections with school staff and the community to support program goals. • An earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Completion of Navy NJROTC instructor certification process required
• A California Designated Special Subjects Teaching Credential authorizing service as an administrator and instructor in a Reserve Officers' Training Corps program must be in force and on file in the Office of the Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools.
• An English Learners authorization is required.
• Rank requirements: o E-5 through E-9 o WO-1 through WO-5 or

O-1, O-2

with prior enlisted service

• An earned master's degree or advanced degree of at least equivalent standard from a regionally accredited college or university desirable
• Tuberculosis (TB) test clearance is required
• Department of Justice (DOJ) Live Scan clearance is required Requirements / Qualifications
