Duties Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance their visit experience Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, smoothies, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and snacks with attention to food safety and cleanliness Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for sales totals and change Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and dining spaces Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members Qualifications Previous experience in food service, café work, or barista roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in serving or retail environments is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided Capable of standing for extended periods, walking throughout the shift, and lifting moderate loads as needed Embark on a lively career journey where your energy makes a difference!
