JOB HOURS

40 Hour Week, Typically M-F 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with possible variations to accommodate specific project requirements. Occasional overtime and weekend work as required.

SALARY RANGE

$ 18.00 hr. to $23.00 hr.

DUTIES and

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist crews by working on the ground, handing tools and heavy materials to workers.

Flagging traffic.

Assist line crew with setting poles by shoveling or piking; fills anchor holes.

Clears undergrowth from right-of-way by using hand tools or saws. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS and

ABILITIES

Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn.

Be self-motivated and work productively.

Have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands.

Experience on a construction jobsite a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES

Must possess and maintain valid drivers license. CDL-A preferredMust be insurable. High School Diploma or GED preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
