Job Description
Qualifications Qualified candidates should have:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in janitorial services, restoration, biohazard cleanup, crime scene cleanup, construction cleaning, or environmental services preferred. Ability to work in emotionally sensitive and physically demanding environments. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in confined or challenging spaces. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Valid driver's license preferred. Reliable transportation required. Must be able to pass a background check, if required by contract or client. Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends, or emergency response shifts as needed. Preferred Certifications The following certifications are preferred but not required: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Bloodborne Pathogen Training Hazwoper Training IICRC Certification Biohazard Remediation Training Respirator Fit Test Certification CPR/First Aid Hyp-tro Building Services may provide training for qualified candidates who demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Required Skills and Attributes The ideal candidate must be: Compassionate and respectful Discreet and confidential Detail-oriented Safety-focused Dependable and punctual Able to work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working in difficult environments Professional when interacting with clients and supervisors Work Environment This position may involve exposure to unpleasant odors, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, contaminated materials, distressed clients, and emotionally difficult situations. All work must be performed using proper PPE, safety procedures, and company-approved cleaning and disposal methods. Compensation Pay is based on experience, certifications, availability, and assignment type. Emergency response, after-hours, and specialty cleanup work may qualify for higher pay rates depending on the project.Benefits Benefits may include:
