Crisis Response Clinician

  • Full-time Mobile Crisis Clinician needed to join our crisis services team providing immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health crises & emotional distress.
This Master's level clinician will conduct assessments, de-escalate crisis situations, and provide appropriate interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of customers. Develops initial services plans, presents treatment recommendations and links customers to appropriate services. Provides crisis services to individuals wherever they are; including home, work or anywhere else in the community where the individual is experiencing a crisis. Provides after-hours on-call on a rotational basis for additional compensation.
Qualified candidates will possess:
Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling with appropriate licensure. Demonstrated diagnostic and case reporting skills and ability to provide effective crisis stabilization services to youth and adults. Driver's license with own transportation to deliver services in locations throughout Van Buren County, that may or may not be barrier-free. [Mileage reimbursement provided.] Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including ability to be punctual, manage time and crisis situations flexibly & effectively, and demonstrate good judgment. Experience in community-based mental health services, including crisis intervention and response, preferred. Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week) during regular office hours of 8:30am-5pm.
