Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic emergency medical team as a Critical Care Paramedic, where your expertise in advanced patient care and emergency response will make a vital difference. In this role, you will provide high-level pre-hospital critical care, manage complex patient assessments, and deliver life-saving interventions during transport. Your dedication to excellence and compassion will ensure patients receive the highest quality care in urgent situations, whether on scene or en route to specialized medical facilities. Responsibilities Deliver advanced critical care interventions including airway management, medication administration, and physiological monitoring during patient transport. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing vital signs, physical examinations, and medical terminology to determine urgent needs. Manage airway devices and perform venipuncture for medication delivery or blood sampling with aseptic technique. Operate emergency medical equipment (DME) such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion devices with precision. Collaborate with hospital staff at Level I Trauma Centers and Level II trauma centers to ensure seamless patient handoff and continuity of care. Perform driving duties safely while adhering to traffic laws, heavy lifting protocols, and maintaining readiness for urgent response scenarios. Maintain detailed documentation of patient condition, treatments administered, and transport details in compliance with medical standards. Experience Proven critical care experience in pre-hospital or hospital settings, preferably within emergency medicine or intensive care units. Hands-on hospital experience including triage, emergency room procedures, and urgent care environments. Familiarity with Level I Trauma Centers and Level II Trauma Centers operations enhances readiness for complex cases. EMT experience with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and advanced airway management techniques. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, vital signs interpretation, and pharmacology related to emergency medicine. Experience administering injections, performing physical examinations, venipuncture, and utilizing aseptic techniques. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining patient safety standards.
