Job Description
Piper Shores is Maine's premier nonprofit continuing care retirement community, offering Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing Care for our residents with a person-centered approach to care.
Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs.
Follows administration protocol. Administers medication only upon a written physician's order.
Records administration of the medication on resident's medication administration record. Discards medication refused or otherwise not given and refusals. Respond to calls for assistance; elevates care to RN or LPN as needed. Assist with bed and linen changes. May assist with 2-person or Hoyer bed lifts Encourages participation in events and activities. Utilizes specialized training to communicate with residents experiencing dementia. Serves as a warm and friendly companion to residents within all levels of care.
CRMA/PSS
team members serve in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. Piper Shores is top-rated by the Us News & World Report and is a nationally recognized 5-star facility by CMS. We offer excellent staff to resident ratios and a clean, safe, and friendly work environment. Weekend Warrior schedule is every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 6am-10pm. Work 32 hours and get paid for 40 with an 8-hour Baylor bonus!Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, socializing and enjoying a meal.Safely prepares, administers, and charts oral, topical, and suppository drugs.

Qualifications:
Maine 40-hour CRMA certification required along with a PSS certification or Maine CNA. Piper Shores will sponsor payment of a training program for candidates without a current certification. Experience working with a senior population preferred; will provide training to entry-level candidates Warm and friendly demeanor with a positive approach to interacting with Seniors and co-workers Ability to stand and move for extended period of time, ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently required.Benefits:
