Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Crop Insurance Sales Manager to lead agency relationships, drive profitable growth, and expand our presence within an assigned region. This role is responsible for agency management, training, business development, and day-to-day support while partnering with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and results. Key ResponsibilitiesAgency & Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and internal stakeholders. Develop and execute agency business plans to drive retention and profitable growth. Deliver exceptional customer service to maximize policy retention and agency satisfaction. Provide ongoing training to agencies on processing systems, products, and Crop Insurance fundamentals. Serve as the primary point of contact for agency support within the region. Collaborate with internal teams including claims, processing, and livestock partners to ensure seamless support. Sales & Business Growth Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region. Analyze regional performance and implement strategies to drive organic growth. Conduct market research and monitor industry trends. Meet or exceed assigned annual sales goals. Drive regional profitability through strategic sales and agency development. Market & Product Expertise Become a subject matter expert on regional market dynamics. Maintain strong knowledge of products and services needed for agent success. Track competitive offerings and communicate market insights to internal teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of Crop Insurance sales experience required. Proven success in sales growth and agency management. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities. Knowledge of Crop Insurance industry trends and competitive landscape. Must live within the assigned region. Why Join Us?
