Full Job Description Schedule:

4-8 hour shifts Weekend availability on call availability

Basic Function:

The Crew Member/Baker is responsible for providing high quality baked goods and services in an efficient, professional manner. They understand recipes, perform quality checks on batters/doughs/toppings/finished products, uses frosting, glazes, fillings, and other toppings to enhance item presentation and process orders from customers. To be a successful Crew member, you should be efficient, friendly, focused on food quality and customer satisfaction, be decisive, attentive, and have a strong understanding of basic baking techniques.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Adheres to company Attendance Policy, and finds coverage for any shifts that have to be missed. 3. Maintains a clean uniform, and follows the companies grooming policy. 4. Operates a Point of Sale system, and maintains an accurate till. This role requires you to understand any discounts/promotions that the company may be offering and implement them effectively. 5. Greets all customers and promotes a friendly work/customer culture. 6. Regularly cleans work stations to maintain both a presentable and safe working environment. 7. Prepares product for packaging/distribution per corporate standards. 8. Utilizes different tools to both weigh and dress product per corporate standards. 9. Uses critical thinking skills to ensure that all flavors are kept in stock and fresh throughout the day. 10. Follows detailed recipes to ensure brand standards when mixing dough. a. Employees must be at least 18 years of age to operate a Mixer. 11. Works with a "team" mindset to help cover in any areas needed throughout the shift. 12. Washes dishes and empties trash throughout the day. 13. Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create excellent baked goods

Qualifications:

Must be a minimum of 15 years of age and 18 years of age to operate mixers Must have a CAN DO attitude. Ability to work during the day, night, weekends and holidays.

Requirements and Working Conditions Certification/Licensure:

Ability to obtain Food Handler Safety Training Card within 1 week of hire.

Working Conditions:

Must be well organized and flexible to meet time, priority and workload demands.

Ability to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and read, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch or crawl.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.

The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
