East Hartford, Connecticut Job Description Job Description Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform duties as Environmental Department Manager for the East Hartford, CT Branch, and serve as Senior Project Manager for environmental-related projects. Assign and actively oversee work responsibilities for project teams and field personnel during project execution. Meet and communicate with current clients; grow business opportunities with existing clients while identifying and developing new client relationships. Engage in networking organizations to support the development of new clients and business growth opportunities. Stay current with environmental regulatory requirements, recognize developing regulatory trends, and prepare for future growth opportunities. Guide and mentor staff while identifying opportunities for cross-training, advancement, and career development. Coordinate internal company resources for Regional and National client projects and opportunities. Monitor team workload, utilization, and profitability to support revenue and profitability objectives. Understand and follow administrative policies and procedures as required. Adhere to company directives and standards while performing all responsibilities in accordance with company and client safety guidelines. Comply with company and client health and safety policies and procedures.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree required 15 years of experience within the Environmental Remediation field
MUST HAVE - CT
Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) Ability to develop and generate environmental business opportunities within the CT market Ability to work independently and lead/manage a team Must possess a valid Driver's License, be able to pass a Driver Background Check, and maintain reliable transportation Ability to successfully pass a Background Check for projects involving state/local governments and defense contractor clients Ability to manage multiple tasks, remain flexible, and work independently with limited supervision Technical requirements: CT Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) Strong technical writing capabilities Knowledge and experience with environmental compliance, due diligence, environmental remediation, and associated services Experience with technical report preparation and senior-level review, including strong familiarity with ASTM and related industry standards Strong leadership, advocacy, and negotiation abilities with environmental regulatory agencies at the federal, state, and local levels Project cost estimation, proposal development, and bidding process experience Experience pursuing and tracking opportunities, developing Statements of Qualification, and supporting pursuit team development Other miscellaneous qualities: Ability to travel up to 15% of the time Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment Ability to mentor junior- and mid-level staff
