Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Deliver advanced patient care as an experienced CT Technologist. Bring your expertise in computed tomography to a dynamic imaging environment where quality and safety are top priorities. In this contract opportunity, you'll play a vital role in producing accurate diagnostic images to support clinical decisions and patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT or equivalent) State licensure as required for CT technologists Proven proficiency in operating CT scanners and related imaging equipment Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic positioning Experience with imaging protocols, contrast administration, and patient monitoring Ability to follow safety protocols regarding radiation and infection control Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team Previous experience in a fast-paced clinical or hospital imaging department preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality CT scans according to physician orders and healthcare standards Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the CT process in a compassionate manner Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any needs or complications Ensure precise, safe administration of IV contrast agents as needed Review images for quality assurance and transmit scans to the appropriate medical staff Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records Collaborate with radiologists and fellow technologists to optimize imaging outcomes Take advantage of a professionally supportive environment where your skills truly make a difference in patient care.
