Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into an essential role supporting advanced diagnostic services within a clinical environment. This contract opportunity is for a CT specialist with proven skills in imaging and computed tomography. The position covers a 13-week duration, offering an engaging setting for professionals experienced in both CT and general radiography.
Schedule:
6:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.
Required Qualifications:
Current ARRT CT Certification. Previous experience in general radiography. Proficiency operating CT imaging equipment. Strong understanding of imaging protocols and safety standards. Effective communication skills for patient instruction and interdisciplinary collaboration. Adaptability to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CT scanners to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders. Prepare and position patients for scans with attention to care, safety, and patient comfort. Assess images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists as needed. Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with facility standards. Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines and infection control policies. Provide guidance and reassurance to patients before and during procedures. Assist with workflow efficiency during overnight hours and contribute to team goals.
