Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic imaging role serving a 123-bed facility with Level III Trauma and Primary Stroke Center capabilities. This contract assignment calls for a capable imaging professional with proven expertise in both CT and X-ray modalities, essential for independent night shift coverage.
Schedule/Hours:
Night shift: 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM (10-hour shifts) Scheduling adjusted to departmental needs across a 6-week period, with a 4-week advance notice Weekend and holiday rotations as required On-call responsibilities may arise; 30-minute response time needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 3 years' recent experience in an acute care setting BLS and ARRT certifications required Active Wisconsin license Competency in both CT and X-ray, including trauma and stroke imaging
CT:
IV/power injection skills, CTA, GE or Toshiba scanner experience preferred
X-ray:
General, Fuji/Canon systems, fluoro, OR imaging Charting with EPIC and McKesson PACS proficiency Experience working independently, especially at night
Responsibilities:
Alternating between CT and X-ray duties based on shift needs Handling a mix of inpatient and emergency department cases Executing CT studies such as strokes, traumas, abdominals, vascular, and contrast/non-contrast scans Performing comprehensive X-rays, including fluoroscopy and all body regions (no outpatient cases) Ensuring adherence to PPE standards; N95s and PAPRs provided Rapid, high-volume scanning—average 45 scans per shift Floating between imaging units as required
