Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Take on a pivotal role in the CT Imaging department, delivering a comprehensive range of diagnostic services across acute care, urgent care, ER, and occasional outpatient environments. You'll work with advanced CT technology—Siemens and Toshiba systems (300+ slices)—to perform scans on patients of all ages, from infants to adults, including trauma and stroke cases. The department manages a high volume, averaging 90-100 scans daily, split between acute and ambulatory care in five dedicated CT rooms.
Schedule/Hours:
Rotating set schedule, may include 12-hour, 10-hour, 7 on/7 off, or weekend-only shifts No self or block scheduling; possibility of being the only tech on duty at times, including nights Weekend and holiday shifts may be required as per rotation
Qualifications:
ARRT (R) certification and BLS required; ARRT CT preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in CT Imaging, ideally in a Level 2 or higher trauma center Competency starting IVs (strongly preferred) Experience with Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS systems Open to first-time travelers and duos/pairs
Key Responsibilities:
Independently provide a full spectrum of CT imaging for trauma, stroke, and other urgent needs Initiate IVs, ensure safety protocols, and deliver patient-focused care for infants through adults Float as needed to cover acute care, urgent care, and rare outpatient cases Complete all organizational training and department-specific orientation Accurately clock in/out as per facility requirements
