Associate Engineer - Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Do:
Conduct FEA simulations on various mechanical components and systems. Build, develop and implement simulation models and algorithms. Analyze and interpret simulation results to support design decisions. Post-process results to determine if products meet customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality control, and suppliers.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Good understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis. Proficiency in using simulation software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN. Ability to interpret and present simulation results effectively. Good attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Pay Range:
$62K - $68K Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Windsor, CT and is considered hybrid. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Citizenship requirement:
Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
