Position is responsible for creating a classroom environment that develops skills in Marketing courses. The Marketing, Distribution, and Logistics career cluster prepares learners for careers in planning, managing, and performing marketing activities to reach organizational objectives, as well as careers involved in the planning, management, and movement of people, materials, and products by road, air, rail, and water. Management & Logistics OR Supply Chain Management Practicum Central High Central High School is a 9-12 school located in Harrison, TN. Our school has a rich history and long-standing traditions. Responsibilities Teaching & Learning - Deeply understand the Tennessee Standards for Marketing and establish clear learning targets for every lesson. Build rigorous and aligned assessments and consistently implement high leverage literacy practices. Actively participates in professional learning communities (PLCs) with colleagues in order to improve teaching and student learning. Reflect on instruction and leadership while contributing ideas, expertise, and time to the mission and goals of the school.Qualifications Knowledge/Education/Experience:
Academic Teaching License with one of the following endorsements: (152) Business Education 6-12 or (776)Distribution and Logistics Skills/Qualifications:
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively with students, educators, parents, and community members. Demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills. Compensation Salary is based on a combination of relevant education and experience. Salary Scale This position may be eligible for an increase in total compensation. The Differentiated Compensation Plan applies to designated schools and hard-to-staff positions.Please see https:
