Job Description:

Under the direction of the Radiologist or Radiology Department Manager, administers ionizing Radiation to patients for the purpose of obtaining diagnostic images. Prepares patient's room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides patient services using imaging modalities, including mobile x-ray, fluoroscopy and CT. Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

1. Proficiently preform CT exams by using CT equipment and ancilary equipment such as injectors safely and proficiently 2. Maintain current knowledge in the field, attend workshops and seminars to maintain competency and licensure requirements. 3. Possess basic knowledge of sterile techniques as it relates to provision of CT assisted biopsies and other interventions. 4. Utilize contrast media safely according to policy and protocol and reconcile patient medications. 5. Apply radiation safety concepts to CT imaging and software to reduce patient exposures. 6. data entry, document history, contrast administration and patient exposures as required. Required Education and Experience Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Required License/Certifications Current certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Must be licensed by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) Basic Life Support certification (BLS) With MedCurate- Be your own boss, pick up shifts when and where you prefer, and earn more money!
