We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Culinary Aide to join our team, assisting in preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our residents.
Job Description:
The Culinary Aide will support the culinary department in the preparation and serving of meals for the residents, ensuring high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for food service and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of meals, ensuring adherence to diet restrictions and special dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and sanitizing. Help with meal delivery to residents' rooms or dining areas as needed. Stock and organize kitchen supplies and assist in inventory control. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient meal service. Report any equipment or safety issues to the Culinary Services Manager. Assist with special events and holiday meal preparation as required.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. A passion for food and helping others. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and organization skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus. Why Join Us?
