Job DescriptionThe Curing Press Operator is responsible for loading and curing commercial truck tires while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. This role works closely with production teams, supervisors, and support departments to ensure efficient operations within the curing department.
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, walk, and climb stairs.
Ability to work in high heat and dusty conditions.
Must be able to safely handle commercial truck tires.

THE ENVIRONMENTSafety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling with comprehensive training provided.

IMPACTLoad and monitor "green" tires in curing pressesOperate curing press controls and monitor equipment performanceIdentify tire codes and ensure proper tire placement and orientationOperate forklifts and other material handling equipment safelyMonitor automated tire delivery systems and report issuesMaintain production, quality, and safety standardsKeep work areas clean and organized following 5S standardsSupport continuous improvement initiatives, CBS activities, and team goalsFollow all plant safety, environmental, and operating proceduresPerform additional duties as assigned by leadershipQualificationsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLEHS
diploma /GEDSuccessful completion of Work Keys (Silver)Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts - days, nights, and weekends.1- 2 year experience in manufacturing preferred.Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
