We're looking for a curly hair specialist who values healthy hair first and takes a thoughtful, long-term approach to their work. This role is open to both booth renters and commission-based stylists, offering flexibility depending on your preferred work style. You'll be part of a supportive, growth-oriented environment centered around intentional technique, client education, and continuous learning. Duties Provide curly hair services including cutting, styling, and treatments with a focus on maintaining hair health Educate clients on at-home care, product use, and realistic expectations for their hair journey Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation Build and maintain strong client relationships and retention Stay open to ongoing education and refining techniques, especially in textured hair and hair health practices Collaborate with a team that values a positive, respectful salon environment Skills Valid cosmetology license Experience or interest in working with curly, coily, and wavy hair Basic understanding of hair health, or willingness to continue learning Strong communication and client service skills Attention to detail and a thoughtful approach to hair care Ability to work independently (especially for booth rental) or as part of a team (commission role) Existing clientele is helpful but not required for all roles
