Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold cleanliness standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor scrubbers, and vacuums efficiently for optimal results. Conduct detailed floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring surfaces. Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring equipment is in good working order. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and restock supplies as needed to ensure continuous operations. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to complete special projects like industrial cleaning or deep sanitation efforts. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors. Ability to operate various cleaning machinery such as buffers and floor scrubbers safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning and maintenance tasks. Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks involving lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices including basic repairs and painting is a plus. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly.
