Description:
This position is responsible for performing custodial services which involve general cleaning and maintaining of county buildings and facilities. Other responsibilities include a significant amount of time walking, bending, reaching and performing physically laborious work (occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.); and performing related duties as required.Requirements :
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. The possession of a driver's license valid in the State of North Carolina is required.Position Preference:
Thorough knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies and equipment and the ability to use them economically and efficiently. The ability to understand oral and written directions; establish and maintain an effective working relationship with associates; and the ability to read, write and work independently is also necessary.
