Summary As a Custodian at Blue Chip Facility Services, you will be instrumental in maintaining cleanliness and order in various industrial and commercial settings. This role is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality facility services that enhance the environment for our clients. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain a clean environment. Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable according to company standards. Handle waste disposal and recycling in compliance with safety regulations. Assist with floor care activities such as buffing and polishing as needed. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and emergencies to ensure client satisfaction. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment issues. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations across facilities. Qualifications Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with custodial work, including lifting and moving equipment. Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is preferred. Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
