Job Description

As a Custom Applicator , you will safely apply pesticide and fertilizers to agricultural fields at proper rates and operate, maintain, and calibrate sprayers, spreaders, and farm trucks to ensure accurate, efficient application.
What You'll Do:
Apply pesticides and fertilizers at applicable rates to the appropriate fields Operate machinery and equipment, such as tractors, forklifts, and other farm implements, following proper procedures and safety guidelines. Mix, load, and apply pesticides/fertilizers Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals Perform daily inspections, clean, and maintain equipment Maintain application/spray records in AgLogic Assist in keeping all equipment and facilities in good order, including assisting the mechanic with major repairs, painting equipment and facilities, and performing other maintenance duties as directed Assist in the movement and accounting of inventory Observe all OSHA, DOT, state, and federal safety regulations at all times Follow housekeeping practices that keep the facilities neat and clean Attend cooperative meetings and work to improve personal skills and knowledge

What You'll bring: High School diploma or equivalent Previous experience in agriculture or a related field preferred Basic computer skills required Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL - Class A Ability to obtain hazmat, tanker, and airbrake endorsements Working conditions: May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals, and vapors, and moving machinery.
