Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Builder and installer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for using assembly sheets, cutlists and detailed drawings to build and install cabinets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to restoration jobs, utilizing your craftsmanship and attention to detail to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Use a table saw and miter saw to cut out cabinet parts. Build face frames, cabinet boxes, and drawer boxes Install custom cabinets in customer homes Install crown molding and various types of trim on cabinets Prepare cabinet surfaces by sanding, filling gaps, and cleaning to ensure optimal finish application Install hardware such as handles, hinges, and locks to complete cabinet assembly Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate finishing and installation Collaborate with carpenters and project managers to coordinate cabinet finishing tasks within project timelines Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Skills Strong knowledge of faceframe cabinetry Proficiency with power tools (orbital sanders, drills, miter saw, table saw, pocket hole machine, line bore machine) Skilled in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a construction site environment Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project schematics Prior experience in remodeling projects or as a handyman is advantageous Prior experience in cabinet building is required Prior experience with cabinet installation is required Proficiency with a tape measure is required
