Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Custom Cabinet Builder and bring innovative, high-quality cabinetry to life! This role is perfect for skilled carpenters and fabrication experts passionate about crafting custom woodwork that transforms spaces. You'll work in a collaborative environment where precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are celebrated. Your expertise will help deliver beautifully finished cabinets that meet clients' exact specifications and elevate interior designs. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct custom cabinets and related woodwork. Fabricate, assemble, and install cabinetry using a variety of hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment. Measure spaces precisely to ensure perfect fitment of cabinets, doors, fixtures, and hardware. Perform trim carpentry tasks such as door hanging, fixture installation, siding, and framing to support cabinet installation projects. Execute finishing work including caulking, construction painting, sanding, and surface preparation for a polished final product. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely while maintaining quality standards on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met throughout the fabrication and installation process. Experience Proven experience in carpentry or woodworking with a focus on custom cabinetry or millwork. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic documentation. Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall finishing. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, chisels, drills; power tools including routers, sanders, nail guns; CNC machinery; and other fabrication equipment. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and experience working on various construction or restoration projects. Background in related industries such as manufacturing, remodeling, restoration industry experience including water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during complex installations like rebar installation or masonry work related to cabinetry support structures.
