Position Summary The Custom Installer is responsible for the installation of built in household appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, cooktops, and wall ovens in customers' homes. Essential functions Observes and tests operation of appliances, such as refrigerators, cook tops, and wall ovens, and makes initial installation adjustments accordingly. Disassembles and re-installs existing kitchen cabinets and assembles and installs prefabricated kitchen cabinets in conjunction with appliance installation. Advises customers about use and care of appliance and provides them with emergency service number. Uninstalls existing appliances if necessary Level and installs new appliances Hooks up water to dishwasher and gas or electric to wall ovens and cooktops Makes sure appliances are secure and level Requirements High school diploma or equivalent education required Previous experience in appliance installation Excellent customer service skills Valid driver's license Background check complete Ability to physically carry 50+ lbs Benefits Competitive hourly w age commensurate with experience.
