Job Description
At Olympus Business Partners, the Customer Acquisition Agent works directly with homeowners to introduce wireless services, assess connectivity needs, qualify customers for enrollment, and close sales that contribute directly to market expansion. Every completed enrollment helps grow our telecom client's customer base throughout the Bakersfield area. The Customer Acquisition Agent spends most of the day in active conversation: asking questions, explaining service options, handling objections, and keeping momentum strong enough to move customers toward a decision. This is a full-time, onsite role built around direct outreach, customer acquisition, and measurable sales performance. Core Functions of the Customer Acquisition Agent Conduct residential outreach throughout Bakersfield to introduce wireless and cellular service options Evaluate household connectivity needs and recommend plans that align with customer usage Lead sales conversations focused on enrollments, upgrades, and service activation Guide customers through qualification requirements and account setup procedures Draft and organize enrollment documentation accurately during the sales process Maintain follow-up communication with residential customers when additional information is needed Track completed enrollments, outreach activity, and daily sales production Work with other Customer Acquisition Agent team members to support customer acquisition goals across assigned territories Qualifications of the Customer Acquisition Agent Comfortable initiating conversations with homeowners in residential environments Ability to maintain energy and professionalism throughout high-volume outreach days Strong awareness of how to guide conversations without sounding overly rehearsed Capable of handling objections and redirecting conversations during sales interactions Interest in customer acquisition, telecommunications, and long-term sales development Someone who responds well to performance benchmarks and commission-based incentives Prior experience in canvassing, hospitality, restaurants, events, athletics, retail, or customer interaction is a plus Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply; in-house training is provided What Makes This Customer Acquisition Agent Opportunity Exciting Weekly pay plus uncapped commission bonuses tied to individual sales performance Entry level training focused on customer acquisition and wireless enrollments Access to experienced industry professionals in telecommunications and sales development 401(k) eligibility for full-time employees Local and international travel opportunities for top performers Biweekly team nights and events throughout the year The Customer Acquisition Agent role is designed for someone who wants direct involvement in outreach, customer interaction, and the type of sales environment where effort directly impacts results.
