Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Customer Care Specialist to join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturing facility. This role is essential for processing sales orders from receipt through to shipment for assigned customers. The Specialist will act as a liaison between the customer, operations, and sales teams to ensure that customer needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

$26-$32/hr
Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Sales Orders:
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of information entered into SAP.
Client Inquiries:
Handle client inquiries, provide necessary information, and interface with customers on routine matters.
Sample Management:
Acknowledge, process, and ship ingredient samples and pre/co-ship samples.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with Shipping, Production, Planning, and Purchasing departments regarding customer orders.
Inquiry Management:
Manage all inquiries regarding open Sales Orders.
Customer Concerns:
Address customer concerns and handle returned goods/damage in transit issues through QA standard procedures.
Client Collaboration:
Work directly with client contacts to ensure sample needs, product safety paperwork, and shipping details are communicated and met.
Monitoring Orders:
Monitor customer's website for active orders.
Data Maintenance:
Maintain forecast data and customer reports.
Reporting:
Research, retrieve, and create reports and spreadsheet analysis as required.
Status Updates:
Provide status updates on customers to other departments.
Special Projects:
Manage and participate in special tasks and projects as requested by the Customer Relations Manager.
Environmental Commitment:
Participate in relevant education/training based on corporate and local environmental objectives, adhering to applicable environmental policies and procedures.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required; college degree preferred. Three to five years of experience in Sales Administration, Customer Relations, or Customer Service. Experience and working knowledge of SAP.
Personal Characteristics:
Advanced oral and written communication skills. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects. Proficient in computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Power BI, Salesforce, etc. Ability to manage difficult customers effectively. Strong collaboration skills with team members.
