Customer Logistics Specialist Nord Gear Corporation - 3.4 Waunakee, WI Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Computer skills Full Job Description Improve communication and information flow between sales, customer experience, materials, purchasing, and production planning Streamline order release and expediting processes Schedule orders across multiple production plants, including Waunakee, Charlotte, and McKinney Monitor orders for production plants, including Waunakee, Charlotte, and McKinney to make sure parts are on order and orders are moving through production Support Customer Experience and Sales by providing alternative solutions when parts are unavailable or capacity is limited Track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) Be an active participant in the company's suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost-saving programs. Perform other duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience:

3+ years of Nord Experience preferred. Preferably in customer service, sales, materials, logistics, or production scheduling. Master Scheduling Experience and APICS certification would be a plus.

Skills and Key Attributes:

Strong understanding of the sales, orders, materials and production processes. Excellent knowledge with SAP product configuration, with and emphasis in Bill of Materials. Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods (verbal, written, etc.) and work within a team setting. Must have excellent attention to detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and strong computer and reporting capabilities. Thorough understanding of Nord Gear Corporation's operating and manufacturing system including order entry and MRP/ERP systems.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work at a desk for up to 8 hours/day. The Customer Logistics Specialist is responsible for improving delivery times and customer satisfaction by scheduling orders and streamlining the expedite process. This position serves as a key point of contact for expediting and optimizing communication between sales, order processing, materials/purchasing, and production planning.
