Job Description

Monroe, Wilton & Bethel, CT $18/hour | 30-40 hours per week Honey Tree Preschool & Busy Bee Village are growing, family-owned businesses looking for a warm, organized, energetic team member to become the "heartbeat" of communication across our schools and play village. This position is ideal for someone who loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently juggle calls, scheduling, follow-up, recruiting support, and day-to-day operations. You'll help families feel welcomed, supported, and excited from their very first phone call — while also helping our leadership team stay organized and connected.
Responsibilities Include:
Answering incoming phone calls for all Honey Tree Preschool locations and Busy Bee Village Responding to family questions with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm Scheduling tours and appointments Following up with prospective families after tours and inquiries Assisting with enrollment paperwork and onboarding Helping maintain organized communication and records Responding to Facebook messages, website inquiries, and emails Supporting marketing and social media efforts by taking photos and videos of classroom activities, special events, and everyday moments while helping create engaging content that highlights our programs, community, and culture Supporting hiring efforts by contacting screened applicants and scheduling interviews Assisting directors and leadership teams with administrative tasks Helping in classrooms or operational areas when extra support is needed Working collaboratively across all locations to support enrollment growth and customer experience
The Right Candidate Is:
Friendly, upbeat, and highly personable Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable multitasking and switching gears quickly Reliable and proactive Strong on the phone and in written communication Comfortable using computers, email, and social media A team player willing to jump in where needed Passionate about helping children and families feel welcomed and cared for Preferred (But Not Required): Experience in childcare, customer service, admissions, hospitality, or office administration Experience with social media or marketing Experience working with families or children About Us Honey Tree Preschool has proudly served Connecticut families since 2002 with a warm, play-based, family-centered approach to early childhood education.
