We're a growing plumbing company serving the Kansas City metro, focused on creating a better customer experience from the first phone call to the final invoice. We move fast, help each other out, and care deeply about doing things properly—for both our customers and our team. The Role We're looking for someone who is highly comfortable with computers, communicates exceptionally well, and genuinely enjoys helping people. This role is part customer service, part office operations, and part problem-solving. You'll be answering phones, helping customers, managing scheduling and communication, assisting with collections, and helping keep the office running smoothly day to day. You do not need plumbing industry experience to succeed here. We care more about finding someone who is organized, proactive, learns quickly, and takes ownership of their work. If you're the type of person who naturally figures things out, picks up new software quickly, stays calm under pressure, and likes being part of a team that's building something together, you'll fit in well here. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates. However, flexibility matters in this role. There will occasionally be busy days, large projects, or unexpected situations where staying later or jumping in to help the team is important. What You'll Do Answer inbound customer calls and communicate professionally and clearly Schedule jobs and coordinate customer communication Send confirmations, updates, and follow-ups by phone, email, and text Assist with collections and past-due account follow-up Help keep records, notes, and customer information organized and accurate Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed Work closely with the team to help solve problems and keep things moving Minimum Requirements Strong written communication and customer‑service skills. Computer savvy; confident learning new platforms. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Accurate typing and attention to detail. Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable Positive attitude and team-first mentality High school diploma or equivalent. Nice‑to‑Have Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Experience with QuickBooks, mHelpDesk/ServiceTitan/Jobber/Housecall, or similar tools. Experience in home services, dispatching, collections, or office coordination
Schedule & Pay Full Time Schedule:
Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00 (some flexibility during peak days) We are also open to a part time schedule
Compensation:
$20-$27/hour DOE + benefits

Health, PTO, 401(k), holidays, etc. Training & Paid Test Period To ensure a great mutual fit, final candidates complete a short skills assessment focused on writing clarity, and data entry accuracy. If selected, onboarding includes a paid working trial day (at your regular hourly rate) during Week 1 with coaching and feedback.
