Customer Service Representative Job Description The Customer Service Representative interacts with customers to address their concerns, answer questions, and assist them with their needs. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to resolve issues efficiently. Responsibilities Provide assistance via e-mail and phone to customers and sales representatives regarding products, orders, and other information. Enter orders received by phone or email on a daily basis. Acknowledge orders as received by customers. Match the person of ladings with orders after shipment daily. Maintain a daily report with KPIs that is issued to the management team for review. Create account adjustments and process returns requested by customers, and submit them to accounting as needed. Assist with any freight claims provided by customers and/or carrier partners. Maintain a positive, professional attitude toward customers at all times. Respond promptly to customer inquiries. Essential Skills Customer service experience Proficiency in data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience in manufacturing Customer support skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with reporting and handling emails Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in an office setting with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
