Customer Service Representative

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team at Coral Reef Animal Hospital! We are a family owned and operated full-service animal hospital dedicated to providing excellent care for our patients while maintaining a positive work culture. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing a welcoming experience in a warm and courteous manner. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about animals. Duties Greeting clients : Welcoming clients and their pets in a friendly and courteous manner. Scheduling appointments : Setting appointments for consultations, procedures, follow-up care, and more. Managing records : Maintaining client records, preparing records for new clients, and noting concerns in patient records. Answering calls : Answering phone calls and responding to emails from clients. Processing payments : Collecting payments for services and medication. Providing advice : Educating clients about pet health and well-being, and advising them on products and services.

Triaging :

Determining the best course of action for patients in urgent or emergency situations. Maintaining the reception area : Keeping the reception area clean and presentable, and tidying magazines and toilets. Assisting other staff : Preparing examination rooms, filling medications and restraining animals. Qualifications Minimum of 18 years of old. High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in the veterinary field preferred but not required. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze information and provide effective solutions. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills with customer service as well as medical knowledge. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Genuinely enjoys and shows compassion when working with animals and able to deal with them even when they are stressed, ill or in pain Must be able to lift 40lbs.

Working Conditions:
